MoRoGa
fusiona telas africanas "wax" con fotografías de revistas, creando un
diálogo entre tradición y modernidad. Las obras transforman el wax en un
lenguaje visual y símbolo cultural que expresa identidad, familia, amor y
comunidad. Cada diseño tiene un significado y conecta momentos de vida en
Senegal, donde vivió tres años. Los collages resignifican las imágenes,
otorgándoles un nuevo sentido cultural y creando puentes entre moda y cultura
africana. En un mundo globalizado, el “wax” representa memoria y resistencia
cultural, evidenciando su apropiación y resignificación en África desde su
origen industrial en Europa del siglo XIX.
